Fees
The initial fee structure for the various product types in Mahogany is impacted annually by the Stats Canada CPI index for Calgary. The September 30th CPI statistics are used to determine the member HOA fees for the following year. The fee structure for the various lot types can be found in the Members Only Section.
Fees are due January 1st of each year and interest is applicable for any outstanding fees. Members do not have access to Mahogany Homeowners Association facilities if their member fees are not current.
Payments can be made in two ways:
In Person:
Your HOA now has a debit machine available for payments at the Mahogany Information Centre during Information Centre business hours (Monday to Thursday 2pm – 8pm only). Debit cards only. At this time we are unable to accept credit cards.
By mail:

Encumbrfance Fee bills are mailed to the homeowner members with 30 days notice prior to the annual Mahogany Homeowners Association fee deadline. The 2012 encumbrance fee bills were mailed to homeowners November 18th, 2011.
Prepayment Option for 2013 Encumbrance Fees
This opportunity is being offered in response to member requests at the 2011 Annual General Meeting. This would be an optional prepayment plan service for those members who wish to take advantage of the HOA offer.
- Lake Access Homes – $175.00 per month
- Attached Homes – $100 per month
- Front Garage Homes – $100 per month
- Laned Homes – $100 per month
The annual Canada Price Index (CPI) adjustments for the 2013 encumbrance fee will not be available until mid November when the 2013 invoices are generated. If you opt to utilize this prepayment plan in September 2012, your annual invoice for 2013 will reflect the balance outstanding on your 2013 encumbrance fee due January 1, 2013.
Any prepayments on your encumbrance fee can be processed by debit only Monday to Thursday from 2 to 8 pm (except for statutory holidays) at the Mahogany Information Centre located at 6 Mahogany Terrace SE and need to occur the first week of each month, September through November.
There will be no interest paid or credited by the HOA to your account for any prepayments received should you elect to take advantage of this opportunity. Any interest earned by the HOA as a result of prepayments will be applied as an offset to the additional HOA administrative costs incurred for offering you this service.
