Fall Lake Closure Due to Thin Ice
With the cold nights the past week, the lake was covered in a thin layer of ice yesterday and will be closed for the next several weeks until there is a safe ice thickness for members to use the lake for the winter skating programs. The lake closed signage was placed at the West Beach and the warning flag changed to red. Once the lake is safe for member use, the sign will be removed and the flag changed to green. Watch for updates on this website under the Lake Conditions link once you see the ice begin to thicken.
Meanwhile the West Beach Park and washrooms are still open for members use to enjoy leisurely strolls, get together with neighbours and family, play basketball or have fun at the playgrounds. For any questions concerning the lake closure, please contact lknight@mahoganyhoa.com .
